SIDDUR EREV SHABBAT 5 Leader: Let us all bless YHWH Elohim, to whom our praise is due. All: Blessed are You, YHWH Elohim, King of the Universe, who has opened our very being to bless Your name le olam va-ed. Leader: It is fitting that we bless you, Father, making prayer with You in Yahad this new day. We ask you to pause and hear the voice of your servants and the words we cry from this place, upon the very walls of salvation, for You are our Rock of deliverance: All: We need You Abba; O Abba, we need Your attention. As a people called by Your Name, we are beholden to You. Let Your bright light of assurance and shalom shine through us, and let the darkness flee. Leader: Give us Your Hora’ah so that Your praise will be forever on our lips. All: Write more Torah upon our hearts, on our inward parts. Embolden us with Your purpose for our lives so that in all we think, and in all that we do, and wherever we go, we attend all for the sake of Your Name, exalting You in the world with great honor and majesty. Tehillim 104:1b "Thou Art Very Great" (on another sheet) Leader: As we breathe, O heavenly Father, Your people will render praise. || All: For Elohim is merciful, forgiving iniquity and not destroying. Time and again, You turn Your anger away and refuse to let rage be all consuming because we lack. We thank You, O Meleq Melaqim, for answering us on the day when we call on Your Set-apart Name. We praise You, O YHWH, ruler of the universe. Leader: You taught us that when we lie down and when we rise up, that we may meditate on Your ordinances and rejoice in Your Torah and in Your mitzvot forever. || All: Day and night Your people reflect on them, for they are our life and the length of our days. May Your love never depart from your servants. Leader: Blessed are You YHWH, who loves His own, called by His Name, set apart and chosen. …and let Your people say… All: Shalom, O Abba, Shalom.
