Regarding B'nai Yahshua Beit Din of 6/20/10 Yaaqov, Michael & Teshua, and the rest of the inner circle: Greetings. Please check out the BYSW notice below after reading my note, OK? BYSW is taking a little step in the right direction with the inclusion of women ministers. Let’s hope that before too long they will go farther. Please note that there is a glaring error, calling our Yahadim “Bnai Yahshua of some town Synagogue.” What Moshe and I did in our conversations of last week included: 1) He accepted my written apology for a disagreement we had years ago, and 2) I accepted his offer to list us, which I took to mean add “Netzari Yahad Conyers (GA)” & “Netzari Yahad Vero (FL).” We went back & forth by email, so there could have and evidently was some misunderstandings in regards to this. 3) I did tell him that we were not synagogues, but study groups (Yahadim). The question now is, Do we want to allow this error to stand or shall we correct it? Obviously, the Beit Din considers us to be in echad, and therefore in some respect “B’nai Yahshua.” We have no intention of changing our name as we continue our outreach program, nor boast of their Beit Din’s consideration. At the same time, would there be logic in changing their listing or seeing to it we are de-listed? Please think about it and let me know. We have already benefitted from this listing already with a group contacting us today by referral from BYSW. I know that you are all interested in the luni-solar Sabbath. This style of calendar may have been used by the groups who understood 1 Enoch and Jubilees as inspired scripture. I read extensively on the subject both for and against, and I’ll have a statement on the Soli-Lunar in the next 10 days. But at this time, let us leave the Sabbath to Yahweh until we decide whether to get out the pencil eraser or not. Moshe is coming over to Vero for a Q & A session for the Erev and Shabbat meetings July 1 & 2. Bnal Yahshua & Rav. K. are extremely controversial, but let me assure you that K. is a genius (ie gifted with very high intelligence) and a master of the subjects that he proposes. Whether you agree with all BY doctrine or not, his visit has the potential of widely increasing our learning in his areas of expertise. Come for the learning if nothing else. He doesn’t make many such appearances. I was invited to be the main teacher at his Feast of Tabernacles this fall. That came as a surprise, and I probably accepted too hastily. I’m planning a trip about that time, so I will need to reconfirm whether I can do this or not, but for the time being, I wish you who are in the inner circle would check the dates and see whether you can do a trip to rural Atlanta for the feast. Money is really not a big concern; make the time for it and whatever you need will materialize. (If you need a copy of my letter of teshuva, I will put it on www.nevy.us tomorrow.) Please reply if you would with whatever suggestions you have, especially in regards to the listing. Thank you, Jackson
