Daniel 9:22. He came, he spoke, he said to me, "Now, Daniel; I have come
down to teach you how to understand. 23. When your pleading began, a
word was uttered, and I have come to tell you. You are a man specially
chosen. Grasp the meaning of the word, understand the vision: |
THIS IS THE FALSEHOOD THOSE WITH GREAT MICROPHONES TEACH
Codes: week (lit. a seven) amounts to 7 years.
A solar year = 365 days and 366 every 4 years but
a prophetic year = 360 days. |
|
24. `Seventy weeks (shabuim shibim) are decreed for your people
and your holy city,
|1| for putting an end to rebellion (pesha),
|2| for placing the seal on sin (tanam chata),
|3| for covering guilt (kaphar avon),
|4| for introducing everlasting righteousness (olam tzedek)
|5| for setting the seal on vision and on prophecy (hazon, navi),
|6| for anointing the holy of holies (mashak qodesh qadeshim). |
70 x 7 = 490 prophetic years, divided into three time periods:
|
|
25. Know this, then, and understand:From the time there went out this
message: 'Return and rebuild Jerusalem' |
445 BC, 24th of March:
acc to Neh 2:1. "In the month of Nisan, in the twentieth year of King
Artaxerxes . . ." v. 9 "I gave them the king's orders." This is the
starting day. |

to the coming of an Anointed Prince, seven weeks and sixty-two weeks,
with squares and ramparts restored and rebuilt, but in a time of
trouble. |
This being the Messiah entering Jerusalem on a donkey, 32 AD April 6
- from this date back to 'the decree, 24th of March 445 is 476 years and
24 days. In those days the Temple had been recently rebuilt. |
|
{{{{Computations: How do we mathematically prove that Daniel's
prophecy was aimed at the Messiah?
The calculation for the consensus view is very complicated; most would
not be able to understand the math. The point is to show that the 69
weeks prophecy is pointing to Mat 21.
And how do the 'consensus' know that the prophecy is aiming for the
triumphal entry?}}}} |
How many prophetic days is 69 weeks?
7 weeks + 62 weeks prophetic time = 69 weeks or
69 weeks x 7 (one week) x 360 (days per year) = 173,880 days.
What is the length of time between the decree (445 BC) and the triumphal
entry on the donkey (32 AD)?
445 BC + 32 AD + 1 (no year 0) = 476 years (of 365 days), or 173,740
days. To this we add leap years and the days between 24th of March and
April 6.
173,740 + 116 + 24 = 173,880 days! |
|
26. And after the sixty-two weeks
an Anointed One put to death without his . . . |
A few days after the triumphal entry, the Messiah was cut off without
any of the 'consensus' hailing him as the Messiah he is. |
|
city and sanctuary ruined by a prince who is to come. The end of that
prince will be catastrophe
and, until the end, there will be war
and all the devastation decreed. |
This manner of interpretation considers the war and destruction of the
Temple.
However, at 69 weeks, the "Heavenly Clock" is stopped. |
|
27. He will strike a firm alliance with many people for the space of a
week; and for the space of one half-week. He will put a stop to
sacrifice and oblation, and on the wing of the Temple will be the
appalling abomination
until the end, until the doom assigned to the devastator." |
Since the Heavenly Clock is stopped, verse 27, the last week of Daniel's
prophecy to be fulfilled, will happen in the future. They teach that
the "he" in verse 27 is a future ruler out of Europe who will make an
alliance with Israel for a week (seven years), but in the middle of the
week, the ruler will break the covenant and desecrate the temple (which
is not at this time standing). Goad will come and destroy the ruler and
his evil crew. |

Several texts are now selected from the New Testament to fill in the
future doings of the seventieth week. The method of interpretation
breaks down under the load of subordinate proof-texts, such as 2
Thessalonians 2:4, Revelation 13:14-15, "the Rapture," and many other
speculations depending on who is teaching. |
