Rom 12:6-8 Having graces (charismata) that differ according to the favor (charin) given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if ministry, in our service; he who teaches, in his teaching; he who encourages, in his exhortation; he who shares, in liberality; he who administrates, with zeal; he who cares, with cheerfulness.
Scripture teaches that the Heavenly Father bestowed upon each individual one predominant Motivational Grace. Our research to date also suggests that the Father sometimes bestows one or (rarely) two other secondary Motivational Graces that work to complement the predominate grace. (We call these secondary graces “wings.”) This assessment is intended to help you differentiate which grace is predominant for you, and whether or not you have other graces operating as “wings.”
It is important to note that no test or inventory can be perfect, so please avoid applying your results too rigidly. The results depend largely on your honest and considered input. The inventories are best used in the context of a Scriptural teaching on Motivational Graces by a qualified instructor in a group setting, allowing for discussion, interaction and affirmation of each other’s function within the New Testament model.
The core of the New Testament Model of ministry is Team Ministry. In the Old Testament, we encounter more than a few “Lone Rangers.” Abraham and Noah had essentially singular callings. Elijah and Elisha typically operated alone. Saul, typifying the OT model, operated largely on his own.
However, in the annals of the New Testament, the Heavenly Father called for teams. Jesus had the 12, and even within the twelve, he had the inner team of Peter, James and John. When Jesus sent out the 12 and the 70, he did it two by two. Saul—as Paul—no longer went on his own; Paul had Barnabas or Silas or Luke or John Mark. Therefore, in respect to the New Testament model, an effective ministry group or assembly will be one in which its members appreciate their own gifts yet have an even greater appreciation of the gifts of others as all work together.
As a result, cooperation becomes the by-word of the team-work. A sound understanding of how individual graces interact is critical to producing sustained result-based outcomes, spiritual growth, and winning teamwork consistent with this New Testament model.
As we become comfortable utilizing our gifts in the group, a seedbed is formed to empower ministry. This organic approach is in opposition to the highly programmed model that most ministries use unsuccessfully in an attempt to develop quality leadership. By knowing our Motivational Grace(s) and our personality traits, our purpose in the Kingdom can more easily come to light, thus providing a means of finding our best fit within the group.
Nevertheless, we have learned that knowing one's Motivational Grace is not enough. Until one superimposes an understanding of one's unique personality (over and above one's grace), one will not be fitted closely enough to achieve one's purposes in the Kingdom. Think of it this way: your motivational grace is the primary lens through which you view the world and ministry; but your personality colors all that you see through that lens. The unique perspective you bring to ministry is a product of your grace and your personality working together in harmony. Consequently, this present research is geared toward refining the correlation between graces and personality, and better defining the vast combinations that are possible.
Thousands of individuals have completed our Motivational Grace Inventories with amazing results. By teaching the concept of Motivational Graces, we have enabled congregations of all sizes, styles and denominations to move more to the forefront in fulfilling their purpose in the Body. It is our opinion there can be no real “equipping of the Saints” (as Ephesians 4 talks about) until each saint has discovered the nine Motivational Graces of Romans 12:6-8 as a primary functional approach to ministry. (By the way, there are NINE not SEVEN.)
We pray you will be uniquely blessed and encouraged by the understanding achieved in this exercise. We thank you for participating in our research! ** There are two types of Exhorting: Encouraging and Motivating, as determined by a full assessment. *** There are two types of Ruling: Managing and Leading, as determined by a full assessment.
Your
responses to the CMI indicate that your Motivational Grace is {clustered}. MGI
& CMI are compatible. Aggregation indicates that your
Motivational Grace is Teaching;
your right wing is Prophecy / Ruling .
WINGS:
In some individuals, a second or even a third grace works in subordination to or in conjunction with the primary grace. We call these secondary graces "right" and "left wings." CLUSTERED: Scores are too close to call and thus ambiguous; yet the inventory that is clustered is still useful in aggregating with other Inventories to determine graces.

2. TEMPERAMENT MASK: One’s self-perceived manner of thinking, behaving or reacting socially. Our assessment of Temperament Mask is based on one’s responses to questions regarding directness with, and openness to, others. Temperament Masks are called by the usual four Hippocratic terms (Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholy and Phlegmatic) plus a fifth term coined by the Drs. Arno (Supine). These Masks are described at the link below. While not exactly a Mask, Purloined is a state in which one perceives he/she acts or reacts in public when, in fact, he/she acts or reacts in a different, often exactly opposite, manner. Purloined is a term that we coined to describe an organized self-deception. Purloined means Secret. If your Inventory scores indicate a Purloined Mask, a description of the deception will follow. Knowing one’s Temperament Mask helps determine, validate and empower both spiritual gifts and personality. The better you know yourself and your grace, and the better you know others, the better you can work with each other and not against each other. You
told us you were (optimistic | not optimistic) and others see you
as (optimistic | not optimistic). This is helpful in determining
Temperamental Mask. (Certain
“temperament masks” have greater capacity for optimism than others.)
TMI
/ BSE Direct
/ Indirect score (+5,+7), which indicates you are
very direct
in dealing face-to-face with others socially. (The higher the score, the
more direct you may be with others.) (Certain
“temperament masks” have greater capacity for being direct than others.)
Definitions for terms that may be used in this section of your assessment: *Ambivalent - Characterized by a lack of any strong attitude. *Paradoxical - Characterized by contradictory inventory information that nevertheless leads to a firm conclusion. *Self-contained - i.e. Introverted - the world inside or the spiritual world is more realistic than the tactile and temporal world.
In the Mask portion of the Cephali Temperament Index (CTI), you scored highest in the indirect / self-contained range.
Therefore, your Temperament Mask is called:

TEMPERAMENT: One’s actual manner of thinking, behaving or reacting in (1) socializing, (2) issues of control and (3) matters of love and affection. Our assessment of Temperament is based on one’s responses to questions that illicit affirmative answers in all three realms. Knowing one’s temperament very much helps individuals work in teams and understand their behaviors.

Optimism, the Temperament Mask Inventory (TMI) and the Cephali Temperament Index for temperament mask were (highly | somewhat | not) consistent. (And they need not be.)
Sanguine

Phlegmatic Mixed The Temperament Mask values and the Temperament proper were exactly the opposite.
This usually indicates a Supine Temperament.
[(A) above] You tell me (through inventory) that you prefer a small group of friends / associates, and that you prefer to be in control of social situations with this small group.
(B) However, you also tell me you would rather be controlled (or be dependent on someone / ones) than control. This is not unusual, but again points to a Supine temperament.
(C) Further, you tell me you definitely are a Supine temperament in the realm of matters of affection; i.e. you may have been something of a wallflower - though at the same time desiring intimacy but being afraid of rejection. Once you have been accepted and feel accepted, the wall against intimacy drops. This relates very much to motivational graces, and i can make a determination with the help of these answers. -Jackson Snyder
Click this link for details of your Temperament. Descriptions of Temperament proper are too far-ranging and complex to provide a quick summary. Please contact the administrator if you have questions. We only recommend only one book on Temperament Analysis - the rest are too one-dimensional to be accurate. That ONE BOOK is a course in the Creation Therapy approach to Christian Counseling called Created in God's Image by the Arnos. (There are several books with this title.) Find the course book here.
*we do not describe the realm of control or affection in our material on-line. Contact us for more information about social, control & affection, or, better, purchase the coursework for "Creation Therapy" here. 4. NINE KEY PERSONALITY PROFILE- 9KEY (Enneagram): A fundamental element of the Nine Key Personality Profile (also called “The Enneagram“) is its description of nine distinct personality types, each a reflection of different patterns of thought, feeling and action. The Nine Key Profiling system that we use has its roots in the Christian monastic movement of the fourth century, and is permeated by the spirituality of the great desert "Fathers." The Nine Key system has also been greatly expanded and amplified by contemporary Christian thinkers and counselors. Each of the nine types is rooted in a specific viewpoint or belief structure that largely determines what is important to you and how you interact with the world to fulfill your hopes and dreams.
Each of us adopted one of the nine patterns to protect a specific aspect of our selves that felt under threat during the development of our personalities. As you discover more about your personality type, you will also be learning about the unconscious motivations that determine much of your behavior.
Understanding your personality type can literally change your life - not only in your relationships with yourself and others, but in the way you cope with all issues and situations. (Some of the above quoted from Enneagram Monthly ©2005) One of the best books on the subject for Christians is What's My Type. Another one we like, from a more psychological perspective, is Enneagram II. Your
Nine Key Personality Profile
(Enneagram Type) is that of the
SEVEN - the Generalist / Socializer. 5. PNEUMATIC (Spiritual) PROFILE - AGI / BHS: This is information you gave us that will help us with future research for the second module of our gifts assessment series. Based on what you entered, we may be contacting you again for further studies. Baptism in the Holy Spirit: Yes

FINAL
CONCLUSIONS: Your inventory results
and our spiritual gifts assessors have determined that your Motivational Grace
is
Ruling of the Managing subset with a
possible right wing of Prophecy.
May we suggest that you study strengths and weaknesses of all your results - Motivational Grace, Temperament Mask and your Nine Key Profile - from the various web pages we have provided. Your inventories coordinated (well | somewhat | poorly), but you are the best judge. If there is not a good fit, please let us know. Thank you for your participation. Please pass our invitation to complete the inventories on to others. Have them go to www.CharismaticGifts.org and use PIN “GUEST.” We look forward to future correspondence.
