Luke 21:25-27 "And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves, 26. men fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27. And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
- We are engaged in a global-sized war – a continuance of a world war that began in 1990.
- For the first time, we face the specter of a suitcase-sized nuclear bomb and the means by which it may be delivered.
- The worldwide exposure of corporate fraud is only the tip of the iceberg.
- The financial markets, so prosperous four years ago, have swept away savings. Much of this is due to corporate fraud in the form of insider trading.
- It has come to light that our intelligence network didn’t recognize blatant evidence of the 9-11 disaster. They could have stopped it if they only would. Shake-ups and finger pointing.

These and many more situations are prophetic dots that few
know how to properly connect. Lets
start with one such dot that’s easy to recognize and then try to connect a few
more, enough to see the beginning of a picture materializing.
· Zechariah 12:2,3 "Lo, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the peoples round about; it will be against Judah also in the siege against Jerusalem. 3. On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it shall grievously hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will come together against it.
“Why don’t YOU do something?” world leaders say to the US in regards to the so-called “Peace Process” in Israel. The world wants us not to interfere in the internal politics of any other nation. Except Israel. There it’s, “You do it!” Why is the civil war in Israel such a concern to so many – the WHOLE WORLD? The prophet couldn’t have known about the advent of five religions, Judaism, Catholicism, Orthodoxy, Protestantism and Islam, far in the future. But because these five religions consider Jerusalem holy (and own lots of property and have great investment there), the city shakes the world and all have come against it, at least in the sense that all are leaning toward it with one intention or another.
- Luke 21:20-24 Jesus
speaking: "But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know
that its desolation has come near.
21. Then let those who are
in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are inside the city
depart, and let not those who are out in the country enter it; 22. for
these are days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written. 23.
Alas for those who are with child and for those who give suck in
those days! For great distress shall be upon the earth and wrath upon this
people; 24. they will fall by the
edge of the sword, and be led captive among all nations; and Jerusalem
will be trodden down by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are
fulfilled.
Jesus sums up the fate of Jerusalem for the next 1937 years, from the invasion of Rome in 67 AD to the end of “Roman / Greek / Arab” rule in 1967.
- Haggai 2: 6,7,9 For thus says the Yahweh Tsaviot: “Once
again, in a little while, I will shake the heavens and the earth and the
sea and the dry land; 7. and I will shake all nations, so
that the treasures of all nations shall come in, and I will fill this
house with splendor. ... 9.
The latter splendor of this house shall be greater than the
former and in this place I will give prosperity.”
Although Jerusalem is a cup of reeling for the all nations, all nations have been shaken that their riches might flow into Israel and, by association, the Jewish people. Think of shaken as someone with pockets full of coins being picked up by the ankles, turned upside down, and all the money shaken out of their pockets! Although there have been trillions invested in Israel by all nations, this prophecy is for the Temple of Zerubabel, which, though glorious, was not furnished by money from all nations. Now, all the accoutrements have been formed and the priesthood has been trained for what religious Jews will be the reinstitution and rebuilding of the Jerusalem temple, and the money has come if from all over the world as if the nations have been shaken.
· Rev 12:1, 3, 6, 9 A great portent appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; 3. And another portent appeared in heaven; behold, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems upon his heads. 6. and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which to be nourished for one thousand two hundred and sixty days. 9. And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world--he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Israel is the woman in this prophecy. The devil, in whatever form he/she might take, is determined to thwart the plans of Yahweh for the salvation of humanity. Israel is an integral part of that plan! Yet despite Yahweh’s bringing forth the miracle of Israel’s independence, its current prosperity, and the fact that all the world marvels after it and stumbles because of it, there is a great world conspiracy to destroy it. It’s not a secret conspiracy – it’s completely in the public domain.
This conspiracy raised its head again with the destruction of Jews in World War II (the dragon pursues the woman on earth) and now, the Arab League vowing to push all the people living in Israel into the sea. Saudi Arabia and the rich oil nations have been found conclusively to be funding terrorism inside Israel and all over the world. Such countries are also being shaken as the money flows from their oil into the pockets of terrorist and mass murderers across the globe. Look:
- Jeremiah 16:16-18. "Behold, I am sending for many
fishers, says Yahweh, and they shall catch them; and afterwards I will
send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and
every hill, and out of the clefts of the rocks. 17. For my eyes are
upon all their ways (the hunters and fishers); they are not hid
from me, nor is their iniquity concealed from my eyes. 18.
And I will doubly recompense their iniquity and their sin, because
they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable idols,
and have filled my inheritance with their abominations."
· Revelation 19:17-20. Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he called to all the birds that fly in midheaven, "Come, gather for the great supper of G-d, 18. to eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great." 19. And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies gathered to make war against him who sits upon the horse and against his army. 20. And the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who in its presence had worked the signs by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulphur.
This passage is the outcome of the great battle against good and evil upon earth, called earlier “Armageddon” (Revelation 16:16). This is at the time of the return of the Anointed, when armies were poised for battle, and could designate an hour, a day or a long period of time, for the resolution of conflict and defeat of armies of evil.
· Revelation 20:1-3. THEN I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain. 2. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, 3. and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years were ended.
The armies of evil will be cleaned up over a period of time, and so will all evil, unclean spiritual presences, principalities and angels. The devil himself will be confined for a period of time. The thousand years is called “the Millennium” though this term doesn’t appear in the Bible. During this time of peaceful recapitulation, several Hebrew prophecies are fulfilled.
- Isaiah 9: 2-5. It shall come to pass in the latter
days that the mountain of the house of Yahweh shall be established ... and
all the nations shall flow to it, 3.
and many peoples shall come, and say: "Come, let us go up to
the mountain of the Yahweh that he may teach us his ways and that we
may walk in his paths." For out of Zion shall go forth the law,
and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.
4. He shall judge
between the nations, and shall decide for [as well as against]
many peoples; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their
spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war any more.
5. O house of Jacob,
come, let us walk in the light of the Lord.
A One World Government (under Yahweh) will be established. New laws (and old ones) will be enforced. There will be lawyers trained and trainers will go forth to teach nations. There will be judgment, both for and against nations, implements of warfare will be transformed to those of peace, and war will not be tolerated nor military maneuvers taught.
- Isaiah 26:19-20. Thy dead shall live, their bodies shall
rise. O dwellers in the dust, awake and sing for joy! For thy dew
is a dew of light, and on the land of the shades thou wilt let it
fall. 20. Come, my people, enter your chambers,
and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until
the wrath is past.
- John 5:28,29 28. [Jesus] Do not marvel at this; for the
hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29.
and come forth, those who have done good, to the resurrection of
life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of judgment.
The pivotal promise of all Scripture, that the dead will rise, is then fulfilled. Whether this happens all at once or not, we don’t know. But we imagine such an amazing and wonderful thing will be a gradual process of acclimating those who were asleep to awaken and learn where they now are.
· Zephaniah 3:9. "Yea, at that time I will change the speech of the peoples to a pure speech, that all of them may call on the name of Yahweh and serve him with one accord.”
Babel will be undone, and all will learn the language of purity. This may mean that foul or uncivil language will cease or that all will learn to speak one language. Some have even predicted that this language will be Hebrew, which has only been in modern use since 1948!
· Isaiah 33: 20, 24. Look upon Zion, the city of our appointed feasts! Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet habitation, an immovable tent, whose stakes will never be plucked up, nor will any of its cords be broken. ... 24. And no inhabitant will say, "I am sick"; the people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.
The Feasts of Yahweh will be reinstituted as HOLIDAYS (Holy Days). This will be the end of the secular calendar. As a result, all those who follow under the sacred calendar and thus are forgiven will also be healed of physical infirmities. Nobody will ever be sick except through sin-sickness. Yes, sin will still exist if one makes sin a personal choice. But sin will then only be a matter of breaking the law.
· 1 Corinthians 15:21-26. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 22. For as in Adam all die, so also in Chr-st shall all be made alive. 23. But each in his own order: Chr-st the first fruits, then at his coming those who belong to Chr-st. 24. Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to G-d the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power. 25. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26. The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
Even death is done for as the final enemy of Yahweh’s Anointed. There are many other dots that may connected, but at least now, we begin to see the big picture of events soon-to-come.
