Though many learned today teach that Jubilees is an early Pharisaical law book, we now know this cannot be, since the Jubilee Calendar that it espouses is contradictory to the pristine lunar calendar. Instead, we understand Jubilees to be a purely Essenic commentary on the great stories and ordinances of the Torah, and part of the unwritten canon of first century Messianic believers. Our translation replaces the Hebraic naming conventions and the archaic words and phraseology, thus taking the toil out of the book to a great degree.

THIS is the history of the division of the days of the law and of the covenant, of the events of the years, of their (year) weeks, of their Jubilees throughout all the years of the world, as YHWH spoke to Moshe on Mount Sinai when he went up to receive the tables of the law and of the commandment, according to the voice of Elohim as he said to him, ‘Go up to the top of the Mount.’
The Calling of Moshe
1 And it came to pass in the first year of the exodus of the yeladim-Yisrael out of Mitizraim, in the third month, on the sixteenth day of the month, [2450 Anno Mundi] that Elohim spoke to Moshe, saying: ‘Come up to me on the Mount, and I will give you two tables of stone of the law and of the commandment, which 2 I have written, that you may teach them.’ And Moshe went up into the mount of Elohim, and the 3 brilliance of YHWH abode on Mount Sinai, and a cloud overshadowed it six days. And he called to Moshe on the seventh day out of the midst of the cloud, and the appearance of the brilliance of 4 YHWH was like a flaming fire on the top of the mount. And Moshe was on the Mount forty days and forty nights, and Elohim taught him the earlier and the later history of the division of all the days 5 of the law and of the covenant.
YHWH more Righteous than the People
And he said: ‘Incline your heart to every word that I will speak to you on this mount, and write them in a book in order that their generations may see how I have not forsaken them for all the evil that they have wrought in transgressing the covenant 6 that I establish between me and you for their generations this day on Mount Sinai. And thus it will come to pass when all these things come upon them, that they will recognize that I am more righteous than they in all their judgments and in all their actions, and they will recognize that 7 I have been truly with them.
YHWH Predicts the Future Apostacy of Israel
‘And write for yourself all these words that I declare to you this day, for I know their rebellion and their stiff neck, before I bring them into the land of which I swore to their fathers, to Avraham and to Yitzchak and to Ya’aqov, saying: ‘To your seed 8 will I give a land flowing with milk and honey. And they will eat and be satisfied, and they will turn to strange gods, to (gods) that cannot deliver them from any of their tribulation: and this witness will be heard for a witness against them. For they will forget all my commandments, (even) all that I command them, and they will walk after the alien tribes, and after their uncleanness, and after their shame, and will serve their gods, and these will 10 prove to them an offence and a tribulation and an affliction and a snare. And many will perish and they will be taken captive, and will fall into the hands of the enemy, because they have forsaken my ordinances and my commandments, and the feasts of my covenant, and my sabbaths, and my set-apart place that I have set apart for myself in their midst, and my tabernacle, and my sanctuary, which I have set apart for myself in the midst of the land, that I should set my name 11 upon it, and that it should dwell (there).
YHWH Turns Israel Over to Enemies / YHWH Sends Witnesses
‘And they will make to themselves high places and groves and graven images, and they will worship, each his own (graven image), so as to go astray, and they 12 will sacrifice their yeladim to demons, and to all the works of the error of their hearts. And I will send witnesses to them that I may witness against them but they will not hear, and will slay the witnesses also, and they will persecute those who seek the law, and they will abrogate and change 13 everything so as to work evil before my eyes. And I will hide my face from them, and I will deliver them into the hand of the alien tribes for captivity, and for a prey, and for devouring, and I will remove them from the midst of the land, and I will scatter them among the alien tribes. 14 And they will forget all my law and all my commandments and all my judgments, and will go 15 astray as to new moons, and sabbaths, and feasts, and jubilees, and ordinances.
Israel Turns Back to YHWH and Prospers
‘And after this they will turn to me from among the alien tribes with all their heart and with all their soul and with all their strength, and I will gather them from among all the alien tribes, and they will seek me, so 16 that I will be found of them, when they seek me with all their heart and with all their soul. And I will disclose to them abounding peace with righteousness, and I will plant them the plant of uprightness in the land, with all my heart and with all my soul, and they will be for a blessing and not for 17 a curse, and they will be the head and not the tail. And I will build my sanctuary in their midst, and I will dwell with them, and I will be their Elohim and they will be my people in truth and 18, 19 righteousness. And I will not forsake them nor fail them; for I am YHWH their Elohim.’
Moshe Prays for Clean Heart & Set-apart Spirit against Belial
And Moshe fell on his face and prayed and said, ‘O YHWH my Elohim, do not forsake your people and your inheritance, so that they should wander in the error of their hearts, and do not deliver them into the hands of their enemies, the alien tribes, in case they should rule over them and cause them to sin against 20 you. Let your mercy, O YHWH, be lifted up upon your people, and create in them an upright ruach, let not the Beliar’s ruach rule over them to accuse them before you, to ensnare them 21 away from paths of righteousness, so that they perish before your face. But they are your people and your inheritance, which you have delivered with your great power from the hands of the Mitzraim: create in them a clean heart and a set-apart ruach, and let them not be ensnared in 22 their sins from now and for a very long time.’
YHWH Replies that All Will Know Israel as Yeladim-Elohim
And YHWH said to Moshe: ‘I know their contrariness and their thoughts and their stubbornness, and they will not be obedient till they confess 23 their own sin and the sin of their fathers. And after this they will turn to me in all uprightness and with all (their) heart and with all (their) soul, and I will circumcise the foreskin of their heart and the foreskin of the heart of their seed, and I will create in them a set-apart ruach, and I will cleanse them so that they will not turn away from me from that day and for a very long time. 24 And their souls will cleave to me and to all my commandments, and they will fulfill my 25 commandments, and I will be their Father and they will be my yeladim. And they all will be called yeladim-the living Elohim, and every malach and every ruach will know, yea, they will know that these are my yeladim, and that I am their Father in uprightness and righteousness, and that 26 I love them.
“Write, and All Will Know I AM Elohim” / Y’rushalayim Set-apart
‘Write down for yourself all these words that I declare to you on this mountain, the first and the last, which will come to pass in all the divisions of the days in the law and in the covenant and in the weeks and the jubilees to for a very long time, until I descend and dwell 27 with them throughout (the land) for a very long time.’ And he said to the Malach of the Presence: Write for Moshe from 28 the beginning of creation till my sanctuary has been built among them for a very long time. And YHWH will appear to the eyes of all, and all will know that I am the Elohim of Yisrael and the Father of all the yeladim-Ya’aqov, and King on Mount Zion for a very long time. And Zion and Y’rushalayim will 29 be set-apart.’
The Sanctuary, Luminaries Be Renewed for the Bacharim
And the Malach of the Presence who went before the camp of Yisrael took the tables of the divisions of the years – from the time of the creation – of the law and of the covenant of the weeks of the jubilees, according to the individual years, according to all the number of the jubilees [according, to the individual years], from the day of the [new] creation when the skies and the earth will be renewed and all their creation according to the powers of the the sky, and according to all the creation of the earth, until the sanctuary of YHWH will be made in Y’rushalayim on Mount Zion, and all the luminaries be renewed for healing and for peace and for blessing for all the bacharim of Yisrael, and that it may be from that day to all the days of the earth.
Compete History of Creation Written: First Day
1 And the Malach of the Presence spoke to Moshe according to the word of YHWH, saying: Write the complete history of creation, how in six days YHWH Elohim finished all His works and all that he created, and kept Sabbath on the seventh day, set it apart for all ages, and 2 appointed it as a sign for all His works. For on the first day he created the skies above, earth, waters, and all the ruachim who serve him, including –
the malachim of the presence,
of the fire-ruach
of the winds-ruach of the winds, and the malachim of the ruach of the clouds, and of darkness, and of snow and of hail and of hoar frost, and the malachim of the voices and of the thunder and of the lightning, and the malachim of the ruachim of cold and of heat, and of winter and of spring and of autumn and of summer and of all the ruachim of his creatures that are in the skies and on the land, (he created) the abysses and the darkness, eventide (and night), and the light, dawn and day, which he has 3 prepared in the knowledge of his heart. And then we saw His works, and praised Him, and lauded before Him on account of all His works; for seven great works did he create on the first day.
History of Creation Written: Second Day – Sky-Vault
4 And on the second day he created the sky-vault in the midst of the waters, and the waters were divided on that day – half of them went up above and half of them went down below the sky-vault (that was) in the midst over the face of the whole land. And this was the only work (Elohim) created 5 on the second day.
History of Creation Written: Third Day – Four Great Works
And on the third day he commanded the waters to pass from off the face of 6 the whole land into one place, and the dry ground to appear. And the waters did so as he commanded them, and they retired from off the face of the land into one place outside of this sky-vault, 7 and the dry land appeared. And on that day he created for them all the seas according to their separate gathering-places, and all the rivers, and the gatherings of the waters in the mountains and on all the land, and all the lakes, and all the dew of the earth, and the seed that is sown, and all sprouting things, and fruit-bearing trees, and trees of the wood, and the garden of Eden, in Eden 8 and all. These four great works Elohim created on the third day.
History of Creation Written: Fourth Day – Great Luminaries & Time
And on the fourth day he created the sun and the moon and the stars, and set them in the vault of the sky, to give light upon all the earth, and to rule over the day and the night, and divide the 9 light from the darkness. And Elohim appointed the sun to be a great sign on the earth for days and 10 for Sabbaths and for months and for feasts and for years and for Sabbaths of years and for jubilees and for all seasons of the years. And it divides the light from the darkness [and] for prosperity, that all things may prosper that shoot and grow on the earth. These three kinds he made on the fourth day.
History of Creation Written: Fifth Day – Three Kinds
And on the fifth day he created great sea monsters in the deeps of the waters, for these were the first things of flesh that were created by his hands, the fish and everything that moves in the 12 waters, and everything that flies, the birds and all their kind. And the sun rose above them to prosper (them), and above everything that was on the land, everything that shoots out of the ground, and all 13 fruit-bearing trees, and all flesh. These three kinds he created on the fifth day.
History of Creation Written: Sixth Day – Animals & Man
And on the sixth day 14 he created all the animals of the land, and all cattle, and everything that moves on the ground. And after all this he created man, a man and a woman created he them, and gave him dominion over all that is upon the ground, and in the seas, and over everything that flies, and over beasts and over cattle, and over everything that moves on the ground, and over the whole earth, and over all this he gave 15 him dominion. And these four kinds he created on the sixth day. And there were altogether 16 twenty-two kinds. And he finished all his work on the sixth day – all that is in the skies and on the earth, and in the seas and in the abysses, and in the light and in the darkness, and in 17 everything.
History of Creation Written: Seventh Day – The Sign of Sabbath
And he gave us a great sign, the Sabbath day, that we should work six days, but 18 keep Sabbath on the seventh day from all work. And all the malachim of the presence, and all the malachim of setting-apart, these two great classes – he has bidden us to keep the Sabbath with Him 19 in the sky and on land. And he said to us: ‘Look, I will separate to myself a people from among all the peoples, and these will keep the Sabbath day, and I will set them apart for myself as my people, and will bless them; as I have set apart the Sabbath day and do devote it to 20 myself, even so will I bless them, and they will be my people and I will be their Elohim. And I have chosen the seed of Ya’aqov from among all that I have seen, and have written him down as my first-born son, and have set him apart for myself for a very long time and beyond; and I will teach them the 21 Sabbath day, that they may keep Sabbath thereon from all work.’
And so he created therein a sign, in accordance with which they should keep Sabbath with us on the seventh day, to eat and to drink, and to bless Him who has created all things as he has blessed and set apart for Himself 22 a peculiar people above all peoples, and that they should keep Sabbath together with us. And he caused His commands to ascend as a sweet savor acceptable before Him all the days...
All About the Sabbath / Sign – Who is to Observe It and How
23 There (were) twenty-two heads of mankind from Adam to Ya’aqov, and twenty-two kinds of work were made until the seventh day; this is blessed and set-apart; and the former also is blessed and 24 set-apart; and this one serves with that one for setting-apart and blessing. And to this (Ya’aqov and his seed) it was granted that they should always be the blessed and set-apart ones of the first covenant 25 and law, even as he had set sanctified and blessed the Sabbath day on the seventh day. He created sky and earth and everything that he created in six days, and Elohim made the seventh day set-apart, for all His works; therefore he commanded on its behalf that, whoever does any work thereon 26 will die, and that he who defiles it will surely die.
The Sabbath, and How Work is Defined
This is why you command the yeladim-Yisrael to observe this day that they may keep it set-apart and not do any work on it, and not 27 defile it, as it is more greatly set-apart than all other days. And whoever profanes it will surely die, and whoever does any work on it will surely die for all time, that the yeladim-Yisrael may observe this day throughout their generations, and not be rooted out of the land; for it is a set-apart day and a blessed 28 day. And everyone who observes it and keeps Sabbath from all his work, will be set-apart and 29 blessed throughout all days like we are. Declare and say to the yeladim-Yisrael the law of this day both that they should keep Sabbath on (the seventh day), and that they should not forsake it in the error of their hearts; (and) that it is not lawful to do any work on it that is improper, to do on it their own pleasure, and that they should not prepare on it anything to be eaten or drunk, and (that it is not lawful) to draw water, or bring in or take out on it through their gates any burden, 30 which they had not prepared for themselves on the sixth day in their dwellings.
The Sabbath Kept in the Sky Before It was Made Known on Earth
And they will not bring in nor take out from house to house on that day; for that day is more set-apart and blessed than any jubilee day of the jubilees; on this we kept Sabbath in the skies before it was made 31 known to any flesh to keep Sabbath on the earth. And the Creator of all things blessed it, but he did not set apart all peoples and nations to keep Sabbath on (that day), but Yisrael alone: those 32 alone he permitted to eat and drink and to keep Sabbath on the earth. And the Creator of all things blessed this day that he had created for blessing and devotion and brilliance above all 33 days. This law and covenant was given to the yeladim-Yisrael as a law for a very long time to their generations.
Summary of Creation
1 And on the six days of the second week we brought, according to the word of Elohim, to Adam all the beasts, and all the cattle, and all the birds, and everything that moves on the earth, and everything that moves in the water, according to their kinds, and according to their types: the beasts on the first day; the cattle on the second day; the birds on the third day; and all that moves on the earth on the fourth day; and all that moves in the water on the fifth day. 2 And Adam named them all by their respective names, and as he called them, so was their name. 3 And on these five days Adam saw all these, male and female, according to every kind that was on 4 the earth, but he was alone and found no mate for him.
The Origin of Woman
And YHWH said to us: ‘It is not 5 good that the man should be alone: let us make a mate for him.’ And YHWH our Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall upon him, and he slept, and he took for the woman one rib from among 6 his ribs, and this rib was the origin of the woman from among his ribs, and he built up the flesh in its stead, and built the woman. And he awaked Adam out of his sleep and on awaking he rose on the sixth day, and he brought her to him, and he knew her, and said to her: ‘This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she will be called 7 wife; because she was taken from her husband.’ So will man and wife be one; for a man will leave his father and his mother, and cleave to his wife, and they will be 8 one flesh.
Days & Weeks in the Garden of Eden / Uncleanness
In the first week was Adam created, and the rib – his wife: in the second week we showed her to him: and for this reason the commandment was given to keep in their defilement, 9 for a male seven days, and for a female twice seven days. And after Adam had completed forty days in the land where he had been created, he brought him into the garden of Eden to till and keep it, but his wife they brought in on the eightieth day, and after this she entered into the garden 10 of Eden. And for this reason the commandment is written on the sky-tablets in regard to her that gives birth: ‘if she bears a male, she will remain in her uncleanness seven days according to the first week of days, and thirty and three days will she remain in the blood of her purifying, and she will not touch any set apart thing, nor enter into the sanctuary, until she accomplishes these 11 days that (are required) in the case of a male child.
Times to Complete Uncleanness from Birthing
But in the case of a female child she will remain in her uncleanness two weeks of days, according to the first two weeks, and sixty-six days 12 in the blood of her purification, and they will be in all eighty days.’ And when she had completed these eighty days we brought her into the garden of Eden, for it is more set-apart than all the earth besides and 13 every tree that is planted in it is set-apart. So, there was ordained regarding her who bears a male or a female child the statute of those days that she should touch no set apart thing, nor 14 enter into the sanctuary until these days for the male or female child are accomplished. This is the law and covenant that was written down for Yisrael, in order that they should observe (it) all the 15 days.
The Hissing Serpent’s Message / The Tree of Death
And in the first week of the first jubilee, [1-7] Adam and his wife were in the garden of Eden for seven years tilling and keeping it, and we gave him work and we instructed him to do everything 16 that is suitable for tillage. And he tilled (the garden), and was naked and knew it not, and was not ashamed, and he protected the garden from the birds and beasts and cattle, and gathered its fruit, and ate, and put aside the residue for himself and for his wife [and put aside that which was 17 being kept]. And after the completion of the seven years, which he had completed there, seven years exactly,  and in the second month, on the seventeenth day (of the month), the serpent came and approached the woman, and the serpent said to the woman, ‘Has Elohim commanded you, 18 saying, You all will not eat of every tree of the garden’ And she said to it, ‘Of all the fruit of the trees of the garden Elohim has said to us, Eat; but of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden Elohim has said to us, You all will not eat of it, neither will you all touch it, in case you all die.’ And the serpent said to the woman, ‘You all will not certainly die: for Elohim know that on the day you all will eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be as gods and know good and 20 evil.
Adam & Chawah Eat of Death’s Tree and Are Ejected from Eden
The woman saw that the tree was attractive and pleasing to the eye and that its fruit 21 was good for food, so she took some and ate it. And once she had first covered her embarrassment with fig leaves, she gave some to Adam, he ate it, and his eyes were opened, and he saw that he was 22 naked. So he took fig leaves sown together and made an apron for himself, and 23, 24 covered his embarrassment. Elohim cursed the serpent, and was angry with it for a very long time ... And he was also angry with the woman, because she heeded the serpent’s voice and ate. Elohim said to her: ‘I will multiply your sorrow and pains greatly: in sorrow you will bring forth 25 yeladim, and your recourse will be to your husband, and he will rule over you.’ And to Adam he said, ‘Because you have heeded your wife’s voice and have eaten of the tree that I commanded you not to eat, cursed be the ground because of you: it will grow thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat your bread whole your face sweats until you return to the ground from which you were taken. Dirt you are, and to dirt will 26 you return.’ So Elohim made coats of skin for them to clothe them, and sent them out of 27 the Garden of Eden.
The Mouths of Beasts Closed / Adam & Chawah Cover Themselves
On the day Adam went out of the Garden, he gave an offering, a pleasing odor –frankincense, galbanum, stacte and spices in the morning at the 28 sun’s rising from the day he covered his embarrassment. On that same day, the mouth of all beasts, of cattle, birds, and whatever else walks and moves, he closed so that they could no longer speak (for they had all spoken with one another in the same lip and with one tongue). 29 And he sent out all flesh out of the Garden of Eden and scattered them in accordance to its genus and species to the places created 30 for them. Of all the beasts and cattle, to Adam alone did he give something to cover his embarrassment. 31 Because of this, it is prescribed on the sky-tablets that all who understand the law’s judgment must cover their embarrassment and should not uncover themselves as the 32 alien tribes do.
Adam & Chawah Dwell in Elda
And on the new moon of the fourth month, Adam and his wife went 33 forth from the Garden of Eden, and they dwelt in the land of Elda in the land of their creation. And 34 Adam called the name of his wife Chawah. And they had no son until the first jubilee,  and after this he 35 knew her. From then on he tilled the land as he had been instructed in the Garden of Eden.
Qayin Murders Hevel his Brother and is Cursed
1 In the third week of the second jubilee Chawah bore Qayin, and in the fourth she bore Hevel, and in the fifth she bore to her daughter Awan. And in the first year of the third jubilee, Qayin slew Hevel because Elohim accepted the sacrifice of Hevel yet did not accept 3 the offering of Qayin. And he slew him in the field: and his blood cried from the ground up to the sky, 4 complaining because Qayin had murdered him. YHWH reproved Qayin because for he had murdered Hevel, cursing him on earth as a fugitive against his brother’s blood. 5 It is so written on the sky-tablets, ‘Cursed is he who strikes his neighbor deceitfully; let all who have seen and heard say, Amein; and let 6 the man who has seen it and not acknowledged it be every bit as cursed.’
(For this reason, whenever we come before our Elohim YHWH, we confess all sin we have seen committed in sky and 7 land, light and darkness & everywhere else.)
Chawah Bears Sheth & Awan; Then Nine Sons
Adam and his wife mourned for Hevel four weeks of years, [99-127] then in the fourth year of the fifth week  they became glad since Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son named Sheth; for he said ‘YHWH has 8 raised up for us a second seed on earth in Hevel’s place (for Qayin murdered him).’ And in the sixth 9 week [134-40] Adam fathered Azura his daughter. And Qayin took Awan his sister as wife and she bore Khanokh at the end of the fourth jubilee. [190-196] The fifth jubilee, the first week of the first year,  houses were built in the land, and Qayin built a city and called it Khanokh after 10, 11 his son. And Adam knew Chawah his wife and she bore nine sons more.
Enosh Calls on YHWH; Brothers & Sisters Marry; The Irim Descend
In the fifth jubilee fifth week [225-31] Sheth married Azura his sister, and in sixth week of the the fourth year  12,13 she bore Enosh.
At that time he began to call on the name of YHWH on the earth.
In the third week of the seventh jubilee [309-15] Enosh married Noam his sister, and she bore a son 14 in the third year of the fifth week, and he called him Qeynan. At the close of the eighth jubilee [325, 386-3992] Qeynan married Mualeleth his sister, and she bore a son in the first week, third year, ninth jubilee.  15 Qeynan called him Mahalalel. In the second week of the tenth jubilee [449-55] Mahalalel married Dinah, bat Barakiel his father’s brother, and she bore a son in the third week in the sixth year.  Mahalalel named him Yered, for YHWH’s malachim, the Irim, descended to the yeladim-adam on the earth in his days, to promote 16 justice and uprightness.
Khanokh, Book of Sky-Signs, First Covenant
In the fourth week of the eleventh jubilee [512-18] Yered married Baracha bat Rasuyal, his father’s brother,  and she bore a son in the fifth week, in the fourth year of the jubilee. 17 Yered called him Khanokh. And he was the first among earth-bound men to learn writing, knowledge & wisdom. Khanokh wrote a book about the sky-signs in the order of their months, so all might know the seasons of the year in order of 18 their months. And he was the first to compose a covenant; and he testified to the families of the benim-adam. Khanokh recounted the jubilees’ weeks, and made known the days of the years to them; and set the months in order, recounting the Shabbatot of the years 19 as we made them all known to him. What was and what will be Khanokh saw in a sleep-vision (such as the yeladim-adam would experience throughout their generations, even until the day of judgment). Khanokh saw and understood everything; he wrote his covenant, placing it on the ground for all 20 the yeladim-adam and for their generations.
Khanokh Is Taken Out to Become a Sign for the Irim
In the seventh week of the twelfth jubilee, [582-88], Khanokh married Edna, bat Danel his father’s brother. In the sixth year  she bore a son that he called 21 Methuselah. Khanokh accompanied the Elohim’s malachim these six jubilees of years, and they showed him everything in sky & earth, even the sun’s regulations, and he wrote it all down. 22 He also spoke to the Irim who had sinned with the batim-adam – for they started to unite in common cause to become defiled with batim-adam. Khanokh 23 testified against them. He was removed from the yeladim-adam for this purpose.
Khanokh’s Business in Eden
We conducted him into the Garden of Eden in majesty and honor, and see! he writes out the 24 sentences of condemnation of all, even to list the deeds of the long-lived yeladim-adam. On account of these, Elohim brought the flood waters upon all of Eden; for there Khanokh was placed as a sign – to testify against all the yeladim-adam by recounting the 25 generation’s events up to the the day of judgment. He burned the incense of the Qadosh upon the Mount – 26 sweet spices acceptable before YHWH. YHWH has four qadosh places in the world: the Garden of Eden, the East Mountain, Mount Sinai (where you stand today), and Mount Zion. In the new creation, Zion will be inaugurated as the earth’s most qadosh place; through it all will be washed of guilt and pollution: 27 all time, all generations.
Methuselah, Lamech, Noach; the Death of Adam and Qayin
In the first year, third week, of the fourteenth jubilee , Methuselah married Edna bat Azrial, his father’s brother’s daughter. [701-7] 28 Methuselah fathered a son, calling him Lamech. Then in the third week of the fifteenth jubilee, Lamech married Betenos bat Barachiel, his father’s brother’s daughter. In this same week she bore a son that he called Noach, saying, ‘This one will comfort me for all my toil and trouble with the ground 29 that YHWH cursed.’ At the end of the nineteenth jubilee, in the seventh week in the sixth year , Adam died. His sons buried him in the land of his creation. He 30 was the first to be buried in the ground. He lacked but seventy years of one thousand; for one thousand years are as a day in the sky-covenant. So it was written about the tree of knowledge: ‘On the day you eat from it you will die.’ Because of this Adam 31 did not complete the years of this day; instead, he died during it. After Adam, at the end of this jubilee, Qayin was killed in the same year. His house fell on him and he died in the midst of it by its stones; for he killed Hevel with a stone, and in righteous justice, he was killed by a stone. 32 All this was ordained in the sky-tablets: The instrument with which a man kills his neighbor, he will likewise be killed; like the way 33 he wounded will he be dealt with.’
The Family of Noach
So in the first year in the fifth week of the twenty-fifth  jubilee, Noach married Emzara bat Rake’el, his father’s brother’s daughter . In the third year, she bore Shem; in the fifth year  she bore Ham; in the first year in the sixth week  she bore Yapheth.
The Nephilim and the Corrupting Thoughts of Worldlings
1 And so it happened when the yeladim-adam began to multiply on the earth’s surface and batim were born to them, that the malachim of YHWH saw them on a certain year of this jubilee, that they were powerfully attractive; so they took wives of whom they 2 picked, and they bore sons for them that were also Nephilim. Lawlessness so increased that all flesh became corrupt against its inherent way and order – men, cattle, beasts, birds – whatever inhabits the earth – to the extent that they began to devour each other; and thus lawlessness increased ever the more as their minds and plans 3 were incessantly evil.
Introduction to Noach, Confinement of Malachim, Lifespan of Man
And Elohim looked at the earth and saw it was corrupt: every creature was corrupted from its way, and every man engaged in all kinds of evil 4 right before YHWH’s eyes, who said he would destroy the yeladim-adam with all flesh-creatures on earth – 5,6 every living thing that he had created. But Noach found favor in the eyes of YHWH. For YHWH was exceedingly angry at the malachim he had sent to earth, and he gave an order to root them out of their dominions. He told us to bind them up in the earth’s deep places, and 7 see to it that they are constrained in the middle of the deep, and are thus kept separate. A command went forth against their sons who transgressed right before His face; that they struck by the sword and thus removed 8 from beneath the sky. And YHWH said ‘my ruach need not always tolerate such men because they are flesh-beings; 9 their days will be one hundred twenty years.’
Judgment of All Who Corrupted Themselves
And YHWH sent His cherub-sword among them so each could slaughter his neighbor, and they began to kill each other until they all fell 10 and were annihilated from the earth. Their fathers were witnesses! After this they were bound in deep earth for a very long time, until the day of the great judgment, when punishment is meted out upon all who have corrupted their ways and works before 11 YHWH. So he destroyed them all from their habitations; there was not one left whom 12 he did not judge in accordance with their life-span.
Righteousness Withstands Judgment, from which None May Hide
Elohim made a new and righteous nature for all his works, so that they might not naturally sin, but each (within its species) should be 13 righteous for all time. The judicial sentence of all creatures is designated and inscribed most properly on the sky-tablets – even for all who leave the path designated for them. If they do not walk in it, judgment is inscribed for every creature of 14 every species. There are none in sky or earth, in light or darkness, in Sheol or Abyss, or in the Dark Place – none escape! Each of their sentences are 15 designated, inscribed and imprinted. In regards to how he will judge: the famous will be judged according to his 16 fame, and the infamous according to his infamy, and each according to his own way. And YHWH is not one who will regard a person’s station, nor is he one who will receive bribes; if he says that he will judge each one, no matter if he gave him everything in the world, he will disregard the 17 gifts or the station. No, he will not accept anything handed to him for he is a righteous judge.
YHWH’s Forgiveness, Noach’s Obedience
Regarding Yisrael’s yeladim it has been written and certain: If they turn to him in righteousness, he will forgive all their offenses and pardon all their sins. It is written and certain that 19 he will show mercy to all who turn from their guilt once each year. As for all those who have corrupted their ways and their thoughts before the flood, not one person was accepted save Noach alone; for he was accepted for his sons, whom Elohim saved from the waters of the flood on his account; for his heart was righteous in all his ways, just as it was 20 meant for him, and he had not departed from any path of his. An had not YHWH said that he would destroy everything on earth: men, cattle, 21 beasts and fowls – whatever moves?
Water Pours and Rises; Noach Built a Box
YHWH commanded Noach to 22 build a box so he could save himself from the flood waters. Noach made the box just as YHWH commanded him – and it was correct in every respect – this in the fifth week 23 in the fifth year of the twenty-seventh jubilee of years, on the new moon of the first month . Noach entered into the box the sixth year , the second month, on the new moon of the second month until the sixteenth. He entered into the box with all he was bringing, and YHWH closed it from the outside on the seventeenth evening. 24 Then YHWH opened seven flood-gates in the sky and seven mouths of deep, deep fountains. 25 The flood-gates started to pour down water from the sky continuing for forty days and forty nights. The deep, deep fountains sent waters upward until the whole land was full. 26 The waters’ depth rose up, increasing to fifteen cubits above the high mountains; this, as the box was lifted up above the ground until it moved on the water’s surface. 27 So the water prevailed on the earth’s surface for five months – one hundred and fifty days!
The Landing and Disembarking of Noach’s Box
28, 29 The box finally rested on the top of Lubar, one of the Ararat mountains. And on the new moon in the fourth month the fountains of the great deep were closed and the flood-gates of the sky were held back so that the mouths of all abysses 30 were opened till the water began to drain out into the deep (this being the new moon of the seventh month). On the new moon of the tenth month the tops of the mountains were seen, and on the new moon of the first 31 month the ground became visible. The waters disapated from above the earth in the fifth week of the seventh year , and on the seventeenth day of the second month the ground was dry. 32 On the twenty-seventh Noach opened the box and sent beasts, cattle, birds and every moving thing out.
Noach’s Sacrifice & Covenant
1 On the new moon of the third month Noach went forth from the box and built an altar on 2 that mountain. . . . By taking the blood of a kid, Noach made atonement for all the land’s guilt, since everything had been destroyed except 3 those in the box with him. He placed the kid’s fat on the altar then took an ox, a goat, a sheep with kids, salt, a turtle-dove and its fledgling, placing the sacrifice to be burnt upon the altar, mingling the offering with oil, sprinkling wine and strewing frankincense over everything. A pungent odor rose; and it was acceptable before 4 YHWH who sensed the pungent odor, and thus made a covenant with Noach that there should never again be a flood to destroy the earth – that all the earth’s days, the seed-time and harvest, might never cease – that cold and hot, summer and winter, day and night should neither end 5 nor change their order for a very, very long time.
YHWH Sets Out the Law of Beasts, Food, Flesh & Especially Blood
Said YHWH, ‘Listen, all of you! Increase and multiply upon the earth, become many upon it, be a blessing upon it. I will 16 inspire everything on earth and sea to be terrorized by your countenance. Look here: I have given you all beasts, all birds, and everything else that moves on the ground, even the fish in the seas, and 7 of it as food. Just as I have given you green herbs, I give you all to eat except flesh with the life still in it – that is, with the blood – you all will not eat; for the life of all flesh is in the blood – do not eat it just in case your own life’s blood be required. At every man’s hand will I require 8 his blood. Whoever sheds a man’s blood, his own blood be shed; because in his image 9,10 Elohim made man. So all of you – increase! Multiply on earth!’
So in this month Noach and his sons swore that they would not eat any blood that remained in any flesh, and he cut a covenant before 11 YHWH Elohim that encompassed a very long time – throughout all the generations of the earth. Because of this, he told you – in this month – on the mountain – with a vow – to cut the everlasting covenant between YHWH and the yeladim-Yisrael and to sprinkle blood on them for the sake of all the 12 covenant’s words. This covenant is written to you! You must observe it continually, so that you never eat any of the blood of beasts, birds or cattle during all the days of the world. For the person who eats the blood of beasts, cattle or birds at any time in earth’s existence, that one’s seed will be uprooted from the ground.
13 You must command the yeladim-Yisrael to eat no blood, so that their names and their seed 14 may be before YHWH our Elohim continually. And for this law there is no limit of days, for it is for a very long time. They will observe it throughout their generations, so that they may continue supplicating on your behalf with blood before the altar; every day and at the time of morning and evening they will seek forgiveness on your behalf perpetually before YHWH that they may keep 15 it and not be rooted out.
The Rainbow a Sign; The Feast of Weeks & First Fruits
So YHWH gave Noach and his sons a sign – that there should not 16 be a flood on the earth ever again. He set his rainbow in the cloud as a sign of the eternal covenant – that there 17 must never again be a flood upon the land so as to destroy it – for all the days of the world. For this reason it is planned and written on the sky-tablets, that they must celebrate the Feast of Weeks in this 18 month annually to renew the covenant every year. The entire feast was celebrated in the sky from the day of creation till the days of Noach – twenty-six jubilees and five weeks of years [1309-1659]. Noach and his sons observed it for seven jubilees and one week of years, till the day of Noach’s death, but from that day Noach’s sons did away with it until Avraham’s day, and 19 they ate blood. But Avraham observed it, and Yitzchak, Ya’aqov and his yeladim observed it up to your own days, but in your days the yeladim-Yisrael forgot about it until you celebrated it anew on this mountain.
Noach to Reinstate Weeks & First Fruits; The Book of the First Law
20 “You Noach must command the yeladim-Yisrael to observe this Feast of Weeks in all their generations: 21 One day each year in this month they will celebrate the feast; for it is the Feast of Weeks as well as the Feast of First Fruits: this feast is twofold and double-natured. 22 Celebrate it in accordance with what is already penned and published. For I have recorded all I wrote you in The Book of the First Law so you may celebrate in the proper season, one day in the year. I also explained to you the proper sacrifices for the yeladim-Yisrael to remember; even the proper manner for all their generations to celebrate it; even the proper month, one day in every year. 23 The new moon of the first, fourth, seventh & tenth month are days of remembrance; the first days of the seasons in the year’s four divisions. These are planned and recorded 24 as a covenant to last for a very long time.”
And Noach planned his own as feasts for all the generations 25 so that they have become, in accordance to his planning, a memorial to him. So on the new moon of the first month he was told to build himself a box; the earth had become dry by that day, and he opened 26 the box and saw the dry ground. Then on the new moon of the fourth month the mouths of the deep places and the abyss beneath were closed. Then on the new moon of the seventh month all the mouths of 27 the abysses of the earth were opened and the waters began to drain into them. Then on the new 28 moon of the tenth month the tops of the mountains were seen and Noach was glad. And on this account he ordained these new moons for himself as memorial feasts to be celebrated for a very long time, and so they are ordered. 29 And they recorded them on the sky-tablets, each had thirteen weeks; their observance one to another, from the first to the second, the second to the third, the 30 third to the fourth. All the days of the commandment will be two and fifty weeks of days, making the entire year complete. Thus it is planned and recorded on the sky-tablets. 31 There is to be no neglecting of it in any single year or from year to year.
The Three Hundred Sixty-four Day Year and Its High Days
32 “You must also command the yeladim-Yisrael to observe the years according to this reckoning – one year will be equal to three hundred and sixty-four days; such will constitute a complete year, They will not vary the time from year to year in either days or feasts; for everything will fall in the year according to 33 their covenant, and no day will be left out or feast disturbed. But if they do not observe the days according to his commandment, they will displace seasons and years from their proper order, resulting in negligence to fulfilling the plan. This being the case, all yeladim-Yisrael will forget and thus no longer discover the proper progression of the years, forgetting the new moons, seasons and Sabbaths; 35 they will be incorrect in the ordering of years. For I know – and from now on I will affirm it to you (for it is not of my own devising) – the very Book lies written in front of me, and on the sky-tablets the division of days is ordained, just in case they forget the covenant feasts 36 and walk according to the feasts of the alien tribes as a result of their error of ignorance.
The Yeladim Disrupt the Festile Order of Time and Eat Blood
“There will be those who will make iron-clad observations of the moon – how it disrupts 37 the seasons by returning ten days too soon from year to year. The time will come when they will disrupt the proper covenantal order by initiating an offensive, unclean feast day, thus confounding all the rest of the days, mixing those set-apart with those unclean, the unclean day with the set-apart. In this way they will go wrong in calculating the months, Sabbaths, feasts and 38 jubilees. I therefore declare and command you to bear witness to them in this regard; for after your death your yeladim will disrupt the proper covenantal order; they will not set the year at three hundred and sixty-four days and thus go wrong in ordering new moons, seasons, Sabbaths and feasts. They will eat all kinds of blood with all kinds of flesh.”
Noach Keeps the Feast of the New Moon, New Year, with Wine
1 In the first year of the seventh week of this jubilee , Noach planted vines upon the mountain where his box rested (Mount Lubar, one of the Ararat Mountains). They produced fruit in the fourth year , and he guarded their fruit, and gathered it in the 2 seventh month. Then he made wine and put it into a crock, and kept it until the first day of the fifth 3 year , on the new moon of the first month. Noach joyously celebrated this feast day. He made a burnt sacrifice to YHWH, one young ox and one ram, and seven year-old sheep, and a kid: all this so he might make atonement for he 4 and his sons. He prepared the kid first, placing some of its blood on the meat that was on the altar he made. He laid all the fat on the altar where he made the burnt sacrifice, 5 and the ox and the ram and the sheep, and he laid all their meat upon the altar. He put all their offerings mingled with oil on it, and afterwards he sprinkled wine on the fire that he had previously made on the altar. He put the incense on the altar and caused a pleasant odor to 6 ascend upwards, acceptable before YHWH his Elohim. And he rejoiced and drank of this wine, he and his 7 yeladim with joy.
Noach is Shamed and Curses his Grandson Qana’an
It became evening, and Noach went into his tent, intoxicated. He laid down 8 and went to sleep, and as he slept, he was uncovered. Ham saw his father Noach naked, and 9 went out and told his two brothers. So Shem arose, took his clothes, and he and Japheth placed the clothes on their shoulders and went in backward and so covered their 10 father’s shame. (Their faces were turned backward.) Noach awoke. He knew all that his younger son had done to him, and he cursed Ham’s son, saying, ‘May Qana’an be damned! Let him be 11 a degraded slave to his brothers.’ Yet Noach blessed Shem, saying: ‘Blessed be 12 Shem’s YHWH Elohim, that Qana’an will be his slave. Elohim will increase Japheth, and Elohim will 13 stay in Beitim-Shem, and Qana’an will be his slave.’
Sibling Envy and Spousal Pride Build New Cities
Ham knew that his father Noach cursed his younger son Qana’an, and Ham was greatly dismayed. So he deserted 14 his father; his sons Cush, Mizraim, Put and Qana’an went with him. Ham built a city for 15 himself and called it Ne’elatama’uk after his wife. Then Japheth saw it all and became envious of his brother, so he built a city for himself and named it ‘Adataneses after 16 his wife. Shem yet lived with his father Noach, and he built a city close to his father on the mountain and also called the city by wife’s name Sedeqetelebab. 17 Look! These three cities are near Mount Lubar: Sedeqetelebab on its 18 east; Na’eltama’uk, south; and ‘Adatan’eses, west. Here are the sons of Shem: Elam, Asshur, Arpachshad (he was born two years after the flood), 19 Lud and Aram. Here are the sons Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, 20 Meshech and Tiras – such are from the sons of Noach.
Noach Urges Right Rulings to Contramand a Chain of Death
In the twenty-eighth jubilee [1324-1372], Noach began to instruct his grandsons in the Torah and Mitzvot (along with all the judicial decisions he knew). He urged his sons to observe right rulings, to cover themselves against shame, to bless their Creator, to respect father and mother, to love their neighbor, and to guard themselves 21 from (1) fornication, (2) uncleanness and (3) iniquity. On account of these last three, the flood came upon the earth: (1) fornication, since the Irim (against their own law) went whoring after human daughters and took all the wives they 22 wanted, thus commencing the (2) uncleanness; for they fostered sons –Naphidim –dissimilar beings, devouring one another. The Rephaim killed the Nephilim, and the 23 Nephilim slew the Elyoim, and the Elyoim killed men. And one man killed the other.
They Lived in Iniquity & Death, and Now You Begin to Do the Same
Everyone sold himself 24 to the work of iniquity and to shed much blood, and the earth was filled with iniquity. And after this they sinned against the beasts and birds, and all that moves and walks on the ground. Much blood was shed. Every fantasy and lust, every worthless and evil thing imaginable came to pass 25 continually. So YHWH destroyed everything from the earth’s surface because of the immorality of their acts and all the blood they shed. 26 He destroyed everything.
Shedders and Eaters of Blood Subject to Demons and Sheol
“Only we remained, my sons – you, me and all who entered the box with us; and look! I see your actions before me – you certainly do not walk in righteousness: for in the way of destruction you have all set out to walk, so you are splitting up, jealous of each another, and no longer in yahad, my sons, each with his brother. 27 For I see, and look! the demons have begun seductions against you and your yeladim. Now I fear that after my death all you will shed blood on the ground 28 and thus be destroyed from the earth’s surface. For all who shed and eat blood will be destroyed from the earth.
29 Not even one person who sheds or
eats blood will be left on the earth,
nor will any such seed or descendant
remain alive under the sky,
for they will go into Sheol –
they will descend to condemnation’s place,
removed to deep darkness by violent death.”
Cover the Blood with Acts of Justice & Righteousness
30 “However, no blood will be seen on you despite the blood from all those days you killed beasts, cattle and birds. Do what is good for your 31 nepheshim and thus cover up whatever blood has already been shed on the earth’s surface. You will not all be as the one who eats blood, but guard yourselves that none may eat blood in your sight. Cover the blood 32 as I have commanded you and your yeladim (along with everyone else). Do not allow the nephesh to be eaten with the meat, so that your blood, which is your life, may not be required 33 at the hand of the one who sheds it. For the earth can otherwise never be clean from the blood that has been shed upon it; for only through the blood of the one who shed it can the earth be 34 purified through all its families. And now, my yeladim, listen! Do justice and righteousness so you all might be planted in righteousness over the entire face of the earth, that your 35 brilliance may be lifted high before Elohi, who saved me from the flood waters.
Prophesying Cities; Instruction Regarding First Fruits
“And look, you will all go and build yourselves cities, and plant all the vegetation of the land in them, and especially 36 all fruit trees. For the first three years the edible fruit will not be gathered; but the fourth year’s fruit will be considered to be set-apart, acceptable before the El Elyon, who created sky, earth and all. Let them also offer the first of the wine and oil in abundance as first-fruits on the altar of YHWH (who receives it). 37 Whatever is left, allow the servants of Beit YHWH eat before the proper altar.
“Then in the fifth year . . . all of you do the releasing in righteousness and uprightness; thus you all will be righteous, 38 and all that you plant will prosper. This is the way your grandfather Khanokh commanded his son Methuselah, who commanded his son Lamech, who commanded me all such ordinances 39 that his ancestors commanded him. In addition, I will command you, O my sons, just as Khanokh commanded his son in the first jubilees. While yet living (being of the seventh generation in his family), he commanded likewise, teaching his son and his son’s sons until his death’s day.”

Though the bodies of these offspring could be destroyed (as with a flood), the angelic part of them could not, though they could be confined. (Identified as Nephilim by Albani, Frey & Lange, Studies in the Book of Jubilees.)
 Devour = also in I Enoch 7:3-5, but not found in the Genesis account.
 The concepts of Righteousness and Lawlessness are important to understand, as they are juxtaposed throughout this book. The Righteous are so only because the heed the cosmic covenant recorded in the sky tablets and made known by the righteous Khanokh. The Lawless are so because they do not heed the covenant. Righteousness and Lawlessness are like Light and Dark – which are constantly vying for the hearts of all creatures.
 “Men” refers specifically to those born of Nephilim as half angel, half human. The human half if vulnerable to the sword.
 Inherent sin has become known as iniquity.

 Noach is teaching “the torah before the Torah,” or the Torah prototype. Torah means Instruction, and Mitzvot means Commandments.
 Evidently, the title Naphidim refers to the children of the Nephilim, who were morphologically and genetically mixed – as chickens, pigs, etc. – and because of this dissimilarity, thought nothing of eating each other.
 Rephaim are also called Giants by some translators.
 Iniquity is the sin resulting from of inborn propensity to evil.
 Yahad = in one accord; the likeminded gathering together.
 Nephesh, soul & blood are all equated here, as in the Torah source Leviticus 17:11.
 These are the first-fruits to be offered to YHWH Elohim.
