The Nazarene Acts
of the Apostles

Also known as
The Recognitions of Clement

Ever wonder why PAUL and not PETER received the mission to the lost tribes?  Wasn't Peter the stone upon which the "church" was to be built?  In this new translation of the Nazarene Acts, we follow Kefa (Peter) as he itinerates from Jerusalem and up the Mediterranean coast up to Tripoli, as recorded in the journals of his successor, Clement of Rome (Phi 4:3).  Every message Kefa preached, the company he kept, and the great works of faith the the Almighty accomplished through him are herein recorded.  This 300 page volume has been 'hidden' in the back of an obscure volume of the "Church Fathers" all this time.  Could it be that, in establishing the Gentile 'church' by pushing away from Judaism, this history was purposely hidden?

The Ten Commandments were not created to be a monument.  They were put in a stone box and finally lost.

Jeremiah 3:16 Yahweh says, THEY shall no more say, "The ark of the covenant of Yahweh." It shall not come to mind, or be remembered, or missed; it shall not be made again.

What would be more fitting is if those who revere or idolize the Ten Commandments monuments would make some attempt at keeping them.

Church Christians do NOT generally keep all the Commandments though they may idolize them.  Christians focus on the last six but ignore the first four.

Consider the third and fourth Commandment as examples.

III. You shall not misuse the name of Yahweh your elohim, for Yahweh will not leave unpunished anyone who misuses his name.

How many Christians even know that the proper name of our god is Yahweh?  Christians use pagan names and titles instead, like

  • "God" the Assyrian deity of luck (Isaiah 65:11 compare NJB, YLT and RSV),

  • "The LORD", a direct translation of the word Baal (see Hitchcock’s Bible Names topic “Baal”),

  • and Jehovah, which, in Hebrew, means "Yahweh is ruinous" (Strong’s #1943).

How many Christians address their prayers to Yahweh, the memorial name forever?  How many Bible translators have used the traditions of men to overwrite the 6,800+ references to Yahweh with "The LORD" or "God."  If this isn't blatant Commandment breaking, I don't know what is.

Even the name "Jesus" didn't come into existence before 1650 AD.  The Son came in the name of his father, Yahweh -- that's why the sacred name of the Son of Yahweh is Yahshua -- Yahweh's Salvation.

"Jesus" is also a Hebrew title.  It means, "Behold the Horse" (Strong’s #1887 + #5483).

IV. Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy. For six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath for Yahweh your elohim. You and anyone living with you shall do no work that day.  For in six days Yahweh made the heavens, earth and sea and all that these contain, but on the seventh day he rested; that is why Yahweh has blessed the Sabbath day and made it sacred.

The Sabbath was instituted by Yahweh on the seventh day, which is sundown Friday to sundown Saturday.  Who changed the Sabbath to "the venerable day of the invincible sun"?  The Bible? NO.  "Jesus"? NO.  Paul? NO. The Resurrection? NO – the resurrection happened on the Sabbath, according to the Greek New Testament.  It was the Roman Emperor Constantine, a sun worshiper, who shifted early Christianity to paganism by changing names, times and seasons in order to unify the Empire.

Not long ago, Judge Moore stood on the steps in Montgomery before his monument, making a political speech ON THE SABBATH -- along with other famous Christians -- blatantly disobeying the very commandments they want us to monumentalize.  It is not the place of man to change what Yahweh has instituted and Yahshua blessed and observed.

Matthew 5:17.  Yahshua says, “Think not that I have come to abolish the law and the prophets; I have come not to abolish them but to fulfill them.  (i.e. keep them thoroughly). 18.  For truly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the law until all is accomplished.  19.  Whoever then relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but he who does them and teaches them shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

I made my decision to keep the ten commandments rather than idolize the dust of old stone.  I hope you'll make that decision too.  We have no right changing what Yahweh has established.  We would do better to adhere to them.

You must love Yahweh your god with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.  This is the greatest and the first commandment. You must love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets too.

You will find that both of these "two commandments" are quotes from the Law -- the first from Deuteronomy 6, the second from Leviticus 19.  Better to follow Yahweh and his son, Yahshua, than to simply get on an outraged bandwagon.  Far more will be accomplished if you can be called GREAT in the Kingdom.

THAT GOES FOR PRAYER too.  I really don’t want to attend a secular, godless event that has a mock prayer to the generic old grandfather god, as though Yahweh was going to bless any pagan old thing.  Do you want to do that?  I know, Yahweh will just wink and smile, right?

You will be watching the Olympics this summer.  This year’s (2004) Olympiad is dedicated to the Greek goddess Hera in a fire ritual from the very start – the flame going around the world is her flame.

You will be worshiping “God” on Easter, a holiday never prescribed in scripture and named after the goddess of the Sidonians mentioned in the Bible many times (1 Kings 11:5 for example).  (Ashtoreth > Astarte > Oester > Easter – look it up for yourself.)

As for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh!
